Relaxation
You can’t help but relax here. There is both a comfortable
residents' lounge and a warm, cosy lounge bar. The latter
overlooks the garden and the Moulin Burn. No background music
is needed in this hotel ... the cooing of doves and the sound
of water babbling over the stones is music enough to the ears
of our visitors, relaxing after a day's walking, exploring
or sightseeing.
The oldest part of the hotel is the original Moulin Inn. First
opened in 1695 - fifty years before the '45 Jacobite Rebellion
- the Moulin Inn remains a centre of hospitality and comfort,
a popular venue for a chat, home-brewed beer and local fayre.
With two log fires and lots of cozy nooks, you'll be hard
pressed to find a better example of a traditional Scottish
pub.
