Perthshire is one of the world's most famous areas for Salmon fishing with the 119 mile River Tay dominating the County as it flows west to east through Perthshire, from Loch Tay to the North Sea. And All types of fishing are widely available and affordable in Perthshire.The prolific Angus rivers North and South Esk are also within an hour's drive. And tackle shops, fishing agents, and countrywear department stores are all available locally.

Fish without hassle at a number of fish farms throughout Perthshire. These offer good sport for beginners as well as the experienced fisher, and equipment can be hired at several venues. Some will even provide free lessons to get you started!
